The New Jersey Chapter of Community Associations Institute (CAI-NJ) held their 2019 Annual Awards Dinner on Thursday, February 28th at the Imperia in Somerset, New Jersey. Attendees enjoyed a cocktail hour and hors d’oeuvres followed by dinner and an award ceremony. Michelle Ricardy of Towne & Country (T&C) was awarded the Candice Bladt Community Manager of the Year Award during the ceremony. Ricardy holds a Senior Management position at T&C, where she supervises multiple T&C staff members and communities for the firm. Ricardy was nominated for the award by two anonymous submissions. When asked about hearing of her nomination, Ricardy said she was both humbled and pleased. Ricardy has worked in the property management industry for close to 25 years. She entered the industry under the tutelage of Ginger Pitaccio, Executive VP of T&C. She began her property management career as a Customer Service Representative, advanced to Ms. Pitaccio’s Administrative Assistant, and was quickly promoted to an On-Site Manager. She obtained her CMCA certification to further broaden her industry knowledge, while simultaneously becoming a Portfolio Manager. Ricardy says she is elated to have won the award and looks forward to continuing her work with her staff and communities.
